Forging music into drum charts
Upload a song and TaikoForge analyzes the rhythm, detects BPM and the start offset, and produces a playable drum chart file (.tja).
Hear what it produces
Same song, four engines, four different charts. Switch to hear how they differ.

The demo track "demo_song" is synthesized in-house and rights-clean. All four charts above are real output from the full charting pipeline on this song, with no manual edits. Hit sounds are synthesized live in your browser.
Gameplay videos
Recordings of people actually playing charts made here.
Videos load from YouTube only once you click — until you press play, this page makes no outside requests at all.
Four charting engines — we pick the right one for you
Onset — Millisecond-Precise Charting
A convolutional-recurrent network hears every drum hit directly from the audio, unconstrained by any grid. Best accuracy for tempo-changing songs and 24th-note passages.
Neural — Phrase Model
An autoregressive decoder generates note by note, producing phrase structures closest to human-authored charts.
Hybrid — Best of Both
Uses a neural draft to guide retrieval-based re-ranking, balancing accuracy and playability.
Auto — Smart Routing
Analyzes the song’s rhythmic complexity and event density first, then decides which engine to use. This is the default.
It also handles all of this for you
Integer snapping plus phase-drift testing avoids misreads like 149.987 when it should be 150.
Automatically finds BPM changes within the song and writes them as BPMCHANGE.
A measure-sequence model identifies the climactic sections.
Learned detection, with duration verified against the actual audio envelope.
Generate all four difficulties — Easy/Normal/Hard/Oni — for one song at once.
Fine-tune density, roll amount, and big-note ratio yourself.
