Charting options

What every field on the dashboard does: upload formats, reference TJA, lyrics, track separation, batch upload, advanced parameters, credits and queue limits.

Upload

Format Limit
MP3, OGG, M4A 60 MB
WAV, FLAC 300 MB
MP4, MKV, MOV, WebM (video) 600 MB

For videos only the audio track is charted; the footage can later be used as a gameplay video background. BPM and OFFSET are detected automatically.

Batch upload: select several files and each one becomes its own job with the same settings. Reference TJA, lyrics and multi-engine mode are not available in a batch.

Reference TJA (optional)

If you already have a TJA for the same song, upload it as a reference. The new chart keeps its BPM, OFFSET, tempo changes (#BPMCHANGE), GOGO sections, DEMOSTART, title and lyrics (#LYRIC), and only the notes are regenerated. Useful when the timing is already right and you just want a fresh set of notes.

Lyrics (optional)

Paste the full lyrics and pick the language. Once the chart is done, the lyrics are aligned and written as #LYRIC automatically, at no extra cost. See Lyrics.

Trim audio

When you upload a single file you can cut the intro or ending and add fades before submitting.

Engine and track

See Engines for how the engines differ.

Which track to chart from:

  • Full mix (default)
  • Drums: the AI isolates the drums first and charts from the beats only, giving a rhythm-driven chart.
  • Vocals: charts from the singing only, giving a melody-driven chart. Popular for anime songs.

The audio you download is still the original song. Track separation always uses the Onset engine and adds about 20–60 seconds.

Difficulty

See Difficulty and stars for star levels and multi-difficulty output.

Advanced parameters

Field Range Effect
Density 0–4 (default 2) How many notes
Roll amount 0–2 (default 1.0) How many yellow drumrolls and balloons
Big note ratio 0–2 (default 1.0) How many big Don/Ka notes
BPM empty = auto If you know the exact BPM, enter it; it beats auto-detection
Start offset empty = auto Where the first beat is
Detect tempo changes off by default (experimental) Only for songs that really change tempo; constant-tempo songs may be misread
Speed up scroll during GOGO sections off by default Notes scroll faster during GOGO sections

If BPM or OFFSET is off, see OFFSET and BPM.

Credits and queue

  • Each job costs 1 song, no matter how many difficulties it outputs. In multi-engine mode each engine costs 1 song.
  • If a job fails on our side or you cancel it, the credit is refunded in full.
  • Active jobs (queued + running) at a time: Free 2, Starter 8, Pro 20.
  • On a finished job, "Make another" brings back the same audio and settings so you can tweak and run it again.
