Trim audio

Cut intros and endings and add fades for free. Everything runs in your browser: no upload, no credits.

If the intro is too long, the ending has a long silence, or you only want part of a song, trim it before charting. Trimming is free and uses no credits, and it runs entirely in your browser.

Two places to trim

  • Trim page: trim and download a new file. Supports wav, ogg, mp3, flac and m4a.
  • Dashboard: when you upload a single file, click "Trim audio" and the trimmed version goes straight into charting. No need to download and re-upload.

How to

  1. Click the waveform to move the playhead and drag the edges to set the range, or type the start and end times in seconds.
  2. Optionally tick Fade In / Fade Out and set their length.
  3. Click "Preview" to check, then "Apply trim". Not happy? Use "Restore original".
