Difficulty and stars
The five courses (Easy to Ura Oni), how to set 1–10 star levels, and multi-difficulty output on paid plans.
Five courses
From easiest to hardest: Easy, Normal, Hard, Oni, plus Ura Oni (the hidden Oni).
Stars
The star level is a number from 1 to 10 that fine-tunes difficulty within a course. Leave "Difficulty star rating" empty and it is chosen automatically; enter a number and the note density follows that level.
Multi-difficulty (paid plans)
Paid plans can generate several courses at once, all in one .tja, for just 1 song of credit:
| Option | Courses |
|---|---|
| All four | Easy, Normal, Hard, Oni |
| All five | Easy, Normal, Hard, Oni, Ura Oni |
| Two hardest | Hard, Oni |
| Oni + Ura | Oni, Ura Oni |
With multi-difficulty selected you can set each course's stars. Defaults and caps come from statistics over 2,900+ human-made charts:
| Course | Default stars | Max |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | 3 | 5 |
| Normal | 4 | 7 |
| Hard | 5 | 8 |
| Oni | 8 | 10 |
| Ura Oni | 9 | 10 |
The free plan generates one course per job.
